Last week I saw a great tutorial video on Skype published by Natalie Louise.  I think that Skype may be one of the most under-used tools at our disposal.  It can make meeting with your team easy and cost free.  Skype has a lot of great features including sharing files, recording calls, screen sharing and, of course, free calls between other Skype users.

When I first started using Social Media in my business, it created a problem for me with my Facebook account. I use Facebook to keep in touch with friends around the world and I didn’t want to mix business posts within my personal account.

Facebook lists allow you to control who your posts are seen by. So, if I want to post something personal that I just want my friends to see, I select that list for the post. I belong to the TSA (Tribe Syndication Association) where we syndicate each other’s content. When I post a link to someone’s blog, I generally just want that post to go out to my business network. With Facebook lists, I can select my “Networking” List for these posts to be seen only by people I have put on that list. Continue reading »
